This website is described as Hybrid because it sits in-between a Pre-Designed website and a totally Custom Designed website (which requires a quotation with investment from $8,000 +GST).
Pricing however, is much closer to the Pre-Designed website (ie the lower priced end of websites).
How it works:
- Your website is built using ThriveSuite by ThriveThemes (click link to find out more).
- You will need to purchase a licence for ThriveSuite here which currently costs US$299 per year. This provides access to a comprehensive list of website tools including Thrive Theme Builder and Thrive Architect which we then use to build your website.
- The ThriveSuite licence gives you access to all of ThriveThemes website software tools and tutorial videos that show you how to use the tools (if you ever choose to). Plus you have full control over the technology in your website.
- These tools allow us to develop a much more customised website for your business, but without the need to pay a designer to come up with a customised design and then pay a developer to code the design to create your website theme.
- As a result, this method of website development is cost effective compared to a custom design, but with the flexibility to make the website truly unique to your business when compared with using a standard Pre-Designed template website.
- One other key feature is that you do not need to be a programmer yourself to make edits to the website. It is something you can learn (with many video tutorials to guide you) if you ever choose to become more DIY with the website in the future.
What is included in a Hybrid website?
- Install WordPress – updatable for security & version updates without ‘breaking’ the design theme
- Install the base ThriveSuite starter theme
- Setup website elements for consistency across the website
- Select the page design elements from the gallery
- Install, activate & configure required plugins
- Configure the theme to suit the agreed style
- Install business logo (supplied by you in the form & size specified) or text based business name if no logo
- Modify theme colours to match your chosen business ‘look and feel’ (HEX or RGB colours to be provided)
- If the theme has a slider or background image on Home Page, install the image(s) as provided by you (we will advise sizes)
- Install Gravity Forms for Contact page (or other agreed website form builder)
- Install link to compatible email marketing system (you need to supply this eg. Mail Chimp, Aweber, Active Campaign etc)…we can recommend and supply a service if you do not have one.
- Install any Social Media links requested
- Activate Menu navigation in header and footer as required
- Add the content for Home, About & Contact pages (content to be supplied) + up to 5 other pages
- Site handed over for you to review
- Up to 2 sets of revisions
- Sign-off
- Transfer website to live hosting
- Site goes live
NOTE 1: Purchase "Hire Our Developers" hours here for any out of scope work such as additional content & any other setup work, customisations or modifications requested.
